Hey there, everyone! Welcome to my blog. My name is Frank, and I’m so excited to introduce you to Being Frank and The Domesticated Millennial. So, what’s this all about?

Well, this blog—and my Youtube Channel—are all about making your house a home. Whether you’re living in a tiny apartment, a suburban starter home, or anywhere else you have ended up. I believe that everyone deserves a space that makes you feel comfortable, functional, and, most importantly, yours.

A little about me. I’m in my early thirties, a full time lawyer and currently living on the jersey shore. This blog and my Youtube channel give me the ability to be a little creative outside of my work life. I focus on recipes, crafts, and simple tips and tricks to make your space not just livable but lovable. From whipping up easy dinners for busy nights to DIY projects that add a personal touch, I’m here to help you find joy in creating a home you’re proud of.

You’ll see everything from step-by-step recipes that even the busiest person can manage, to fun crafts that don’t require an art degree—or a ton of money.

Spoiler alert: Not all my projects go as planned, but that’s part of the fun, right?

At the heart of it all, this blog and my channel aren’t just about me showing you what I love to do. It’s about us—building a community of like-minded folks who are passionate about turning their living spaces into places they truly love.

So, whether you’re here to learn a quick new recipe, pick up a fun decorating idea, or just hang out with someone who’s figuring out adulting one day at a time, you’re in the right place.

Alright, now that we’ve got the introductions out of the way, let’s get started! There’s three tips I want you to follow and embrace with me:

  1. Don’t be afraid to fail. If you overcook that dinner or burned a few cookies, be proud that you tried. Practice makes perfect. I show you my failures along the way too.
  2. Tailor things to YOU. I’m here to help you out in your home. If I’m doing a recipe with salmon and you prefer a different fish, mix it up and pick a halibut or cod something. This is all meant to help you!
  3. Imperfect is perfect. Since beauty is in the eye of the beholder, make your home beautiful to you. Things don’t have to be symmetrical. Patterns don’t have to match. Just enjoy it all. None of us are Martha Stewart, so just try your best with what you have and like.

With those things in mind and if this sounds like your kind of content, don’t forget to hit subscribe, give this video a like, and let me know in the comments—what’s one thing you want to do at home to make it feel more like YOUR home?

And if the answer is “finally unpack that moving box from six months ago,” no judgment here, this is the planet fitness of blogs and Youtube channels and let’s get after it. Hope to see you soon!
